From Seattle to Silicon Valley, Scottsdale to Boston, San Diego to Austin, London, Amsterdam, Munich, Cape Town, Melbourne and beyond, the work has spanned the globe. Each capital project was an opportunity to bring the workplace program to life, creating spaces that reflected the culture and values of the organization in every market.
Sunnyvale, California - The Raceway
The 40,000 square foot tenant improvement project was designed around a racing theme, featuring a figure-eight internal race track finished in polished concrete and stocked with adult-sized pedal go-karts. The track wasn't just a design statement, it became a centerpiece of the workplace experience, drawing employees, families and guests into the space in a way few office amenities can.
The grand opening brought NASCAR legends Danica Patrick and Tony Stewart to Sunnyvale, where they raced employees and their kids around the track.
The project earned LEED Gold certification and took home the Grand Prize for Interiors at the Gold Nugget Awards.
Tempe, Arizona - Global Technology Center
This ground-up development in Tempe, Arizona spans 150,000 square feet and is home to more than 1,200 employees. The tech center was designed around a world-class workplace program, built to promote collaboration across cross-functional teams and create an environment where people genuinely love coming to work.
Interior amenities include a full-service kitchen with on-site chefs, fitness center, locker rooms, yoga room, indoor climbing wall, game center, relaxation areas, putting greens, and a giant slide connecting the second floor to the cafe below. Outside, employees enjoy bicycles and bike paths, basketball and sand volleyball courts, pickleball courts, and a skatepark.
The two-story cafe was a centerpiece of the design, with 12-foot glass Nano wall doors that open to the outdoors during Arizona's cooler winters. Sustainability was built into the core of the project, with a magnetic bearing, energy-efficient chilled water system and solar panels on covered carports to offset the energy load.
The completed campus was recognized by RED, NAIOP, and IIDA for outstanding design excellence.
Kirkland, Washington - Carillon Point
Situated at the edge of Lake Washington at Carillon Point, this 60,000 square foot tenant improvement project spans three floors connected by interstitial stairs. The space was designed with a mid-century aesthetic, showcasing walnut, teak and glass throughout, with cozy gas fireplaces adding warmth to the Pacific Northwest setting.
With marina parking available, employees have the option to arrive by boat, making Carillon Point one of the more distinctive workplace addresses in the Pacific Northwest.
The Kirkland office serves as home to executive leadership and a significant portion of the company's engineering talent, making the quality and character of the space especially important.
